Polaris built only a couple sleds in the way of an exotic racer for 1967 – most went into battle with modified Colts. But two names emerged on top in 1967 for the fledging sport of snowmobile racing: Gerry Reese (who won the 67 Winnipeg to St. Paul race) and Bob Eastman.
