I heard through the grapevine that Stan “The Professor” Hayes, one of the original Starfire Kids is having some bad health issues at a time when having health issues is not good.
So I hope he spots this while recovering and knows we are all thinking about him and praying for the best.
I got to know Stan first while putting together the history of his 1974 650 Snopro Starfire. During those chats, he told me a few stories, and that really is where the idea came to me that I needed to collect these stories and get them in a book.
Stan was one of the first and one of the best interviews for the whole project, and I hope I thanked him enough.
