Polaris Factory Racers Jim Bernat and Larry Rugland – caught red-handed staring at the defending World Champion, Gilles Villeneuve. One week before the Eagle River race in 1975, Bernat and Rugland were watching Gilles unload his sleds in Peterborough.

The Polaris team had great respect and admiration for Mr. Villeneuve and had tried their best to hire him on several occasions.

But one has to wonder – what exactly are they thinking?
