Well last week we managed to raise the estimated $10,000 needed to restore the original Polaris Race Trailer in just a few days, thanks to generous donations that flew in as soon as we let everyone know the campaign was there. For those of you who contributed THANK YOU and you’re name will be going on a sign outside the trailer that will look pretty much like this one:
So they got started on the trailer. She will need new doors and many spots that are rested through, like this patch that was done on the lower rear of the drivers side. Decades of road salt just ate its way through, and so a patch was put into place:
So as you can see this is going to be a BIG job. But I think we have some of the best people lined up to help – so I will keep you updated on the progress!
