In 1977, the factory IFS sleds used a unique ski, a one-off that was only used that year. When restoring one of the 1977’s, I had no choice but to reproduce those skis, and they came out PERFECT.
They were cloned from the one original NOS IFS ski I’ve had in my collection for years. The extrusion measures 100% identical to the original, the loops are the exact same thickness, diameter and bend. The welds are every bit as amazing as those done at the Polaris factory.
In order to make one set, I had no choice but to make several sets, so there is only a precious few sets available, and once they are gone, they are GONE.

This photo shows and original set, and the reproductions on the #2 sled of Steve Thorsen. The extra bracing on the Hulings #1 sled are original, but the skis did not start out the season with those braces. They were added to keep the ski loop from coming off during a race.
