1975 Polaris Bob Eastman SnoPro Ad
How many of you remember seeing this ad in your favorite snowmobile magazine and drooling all over it?
There is an interesting story behind the photo of what appears to be a brand new 1975 Bob Eastman SnoPro.
When this photo was taken, the 1975 machines had yet to be built. So the race team built up one of the 1974 SnoPro chassis that was left over.
The actual sled in this photo had no chaincase, no suspension, carbs, pipes or almost anything else. A plastic consumer gas tank was used, and the motor just set in for the photo.
The hood design, however, was used on the 1975 race sleds. This chassis was sent to salvage. It popped up some years back with a collector in Michigan. It’s in very rough shape, but it is the very machine used in this photo!
