1970 was a fantastic year for Polaris racing with Greg Grahn, Mike Baker, Ray Monsrud, Leroy Lindblad, Gerry Reece, Bob Eastman, Jim Bernat, Darrel Courtright, Wes Pesek and Tony Burkel leading the way with big wins in cross-country, on the oval and in drag racing.
It was the first year of the new Fuji motors, and the X-2 set a record of 109.9 miles an hour!
